Biography

Throughout her career, Lobna's work has been anchored in her passion for history, heritage, nature, and woodwork. She found early inspiration in inhabited old wooden doors, using them as artistic media to explore their mystical depths. Her recent journeys to the coastal city of Assilah have transformed her artistic expression—shifting from wood to canvas, from vivid colors to earthy blues and grays. Yet her core sensibilities remain: an attention to contrasts, an appreciation for textures from smooth to rough, and a deep connection to nature and authenticity. Her creative process follows one essential principle: listen to the melodies and stories of natural elements—wood, air, soil, trees, seas, and walls—and let them guide the inspiration. This reverence for nature's gifts, translated through her artistic lens, imbues her pieces with their distinctive charm. Her evocative collections now grace private collections worldwide, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Holland, Paris, and the Monaco Museum of Modern Arts.
